Yellow mode for the XBox 360, in Simpsons style
Microsoft is preparing visual upgrades for their Xbox console. One of them will be the yellow Simpsons hood, coming this summer, a couple of months before the Simpsons game will reach the stands. So if you’re sick of the dull grey or black Xbox, the banana-yellow console is the one for you.
Like you probably now, there’s a Simpsons movie coming this year. This comes as a coronation for the so famous cartoon series, that has been on TV for almost 20 seasons now. That’s why the new Simpsons Xbox 360 will come together with the movie. This way little Bart on the side wont get lonely at all.
Only 100 Simpsons Xboxes 360 will be produced, making them very exclusive
Although not the biggest fan of the show(don’t throw rocks please), i can’t say i would mind having this gadget for a couple of hundreds of bucks. Unfortunately, it won’t be that easy, since Microsoft would not try to exploit the opportunity with a mass produced device.
So here comes the bad part. The console will be exclusive, only 100 Simpsons Xboxes being produced and none will be sold. They will be offered as prizes in various contests, in order to promote the movie. That means that you should scan the EBay this summer for one, but take care that this collectibles Simpsons Xbox 360 won’t go cheap at all…
