Whirlpool Centralpark Connection transforms kitchen in media headquartes

It seems these days that electronic devices are making an entrance in domains that till yesterday had nothing to do with computers. Home appliances is one such example, with Whirlpool announcing the Centralpark Connection, a multimedia hub for your refrigerator.

Whirlpool Centralpark Connection allows you to connect a portable DVD Player, MP3 Player, digital photo album or cellphone to your refrigerator, so that you can entertain the family gathered in your kitchen, a place for relaxation, a party G-Spot when it comes to people gatherings. Even if integrating electronics with refrigerators isn’t something new (look at Samsung’s refrigerator with LCD TV), Whirlpool took things further, by allowing you to control your main multimedia devices with Centralpark Connection.

If you are interested to find more, Whirlpool says that “it’s coming in fall 2007″, just like that. We’ll see then if it’s gonna rock our world or just enter the hall of shame.
