Some days back, I discussed the types of ringtones and to brush up – Monophonic, Truetone, Ployphonic are three types of ringtones. Like I said in my previous post, mp3 ringtones are great as you can use them to reflect your mood. You can even use them so as to set your favorite song as your ringtone.

Some modern cell phones also allow you to set a different ringtone for different contacts and this lets you identify who’s calling you without even looking at the cell phone. So, ringtones are cool but where to look for them? You can find ringtones by searching them on Internet. However, this can turn into a difficult process as most of the site will offer ads, registrations so as to let you download the ringtones. Also, you cannot expect all the ringtones to be available for free.

Apart from the free sites, there are some premium sites on Internet that charge a nominal fee for downloading amazing ringtones. Usually, all you need to do is to registerself yourself with the website, make the payment and then select the ringtones that you want to download. Most of the sites charge one-time fee but some sites charge monthly fees. However, the exact price varies from site to site and it also depends on the amount of content that you want to download.

Now, if you’re wondering why to pay for ringtones when you can get them for free? Well, the paid sites maintain a large collection of ringtones. No matter if it’s a very popular song, old song, classic song or even alicia keys ringtones; you’re most likely to find virtually anything on such sites and this saves the search time.

At the end, it’s up to you to decide whether to go for a free site or for a premium site that offers a large collection of ringtones at a nominal price.
