The Swiss company Weber Sportscar is planning to unveil a concept car that could snatch Bugatti Veyron’s title of “world fastest road car“. And they plan to do that during the Top Marques Monaco show, that gathers together some of the fastest and most exclusive sports cars in the world.

Interesting design, but looks kind of like a kitch
The car is developed entirely by Weber Sportscar. The aluminium and carbon fibre body houses a mega engine: 7.0 liter and 900 horsepower. That’s fewer than the 1001 HP of the Bugatti, but the engine can still get the 1,2 tons car from 0 to 100 Km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Top speed should be somewhere around 400 Km/h (250 miles/h). Just imagine how much will this monster consume, if we have four fuel tanks holding around 110 liters. They’ll surely disappear in no time while “cruising” at that top speed…
Weber’s concept is interesting, i can say, from the design point of view. Unfortunately it lacks the excellent lines and the good taste of the Veyron. No idea on the pricing yet, but the standard configuration of the vehicle will include active four-wheel drive, traction control and rear view camera (!?!).

This is without a shadow of a doubt, the most stupendously ugly car I’ve ever seen.
Who cares how fast it goes when it looks like it’s made of card board panels?
Hideous…
Well Wayne, we can’t really argue with people’s taste ay?
I’m still saving up for my McLaren F1 GT…
Well, good luck with that mate. You do have to make a hell of a saving for a McLaren F1. :)
