Vonage, a North-American communications provider offers an interesting solution for making phone calls: V-PHONE, the first keychain phone.
Even if it looks more like a USB stick, V-PHONE is an interesting approach to making phone calls.

Vonage V-PHONE when in use
Vonage V-PHONE includes the phone itself, with USB connector, earbuds with included microphone and the Vonage Talk Software, preloaded on the 250 MB of internal memory (I guess they wanted to say 256 MB). How it works? Simple even for grandma, insert you stick V-PHONE in a free USB port (on a PC, not MAC), Talk Software stars automatically, you plug the earbuds in V-PHONE and you ears, dial the number and start talking.

Earbuds, that’s the standard accessory list for V-PHONE

Oh, and I forgot the keychain…
That’s it, scary simple. If you are a more complicated person then Vonage offers you some additional services with V-PHONE, like Vonace Voicemail, Caller ID feature, ability to add contacts to your phone. No word on Internet connection, but I guess that’s a must.

Convenient yes, but not practical when you have to call vonage every time to transfer your current number to the v-phone when you leave & back to the wirerless when you are home. The wait time is to long.
