Viewsonic launches 24 inch 3D monitor with 3D glasses

Viewsonic announced the official launch of their brand-new 3D monitor in October. It is a 24 inch full-3D LED monitor certified for use with Radeon graphics cards.

The V3D241wm – as it is called – renders both games and movies in seamless 3D at the – now standard – 120Hz frame-rate. The LED screen is ultra-responsive (under 2 ms response time), has a brightness of 300 nits and a contrast ratio of 20 million:1, so your gamelife is rich with the most vivid colors.

Officials are happy the monitor is perfectly matched with the AMD Radeon graphics cards (from which they also got the certification), saying that you’ll be experiencing the best 3D action to date, be it in games or movies.

The monitor also has 2 SRS speakers incorporated, an Eco mode to reduce consumption and Windows 7 compatibility. The V3D241wm is sold in the UK for £330, which is about $527. Active shutter 3D glasses are included, so the price is a real bargain considering the bundle.
