The quality of sound: Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 9
When we talk about acoustic perfection, the name Bang & Olufsen usually comes in front. That is also the case for their latest high end speakers, the Beolab 9 model, which combine superior sound quality with freedom of form and positioning, due to their modest dimensions.
BeoLab 9 is a three-way active loudspeaker with the bass and mid-range units placed in their own dedicated pressure chambers. And it has a visual identity of its own. The main part of the system is covered in fabric, coloured in red, grey, black or blue, while the acoustic lens at the top have a zinc with matt chromium shell. This way, the speaker can fit in every setting and impresses with its sci-fi metallic lighthouse look.

The Bang&Olufsen Beolab 9 looks weird indeed
But it’s not just about the looks. Not at all. The Beolab 9 uses the Acoustic Lens Technology, which guarantees uniform spread of the sound in every part of the room. The listener hears constant timbre wherever he stands, and the distortions from the floor and ceiling are reduced, for a better audition. In addition, Bang & Olufsen uses on Beolab 9 the Adaptive Bass Linearisation technology, which diminishes low frequency anomalies when we want to bump heavy bass music.

But the acoustic quality is exquisite
This way the acoustic experience lived when you listen something at this Bang & Olufsen system is complete. There is one problem though. The price. Bang & Olufsen products aren’t really dedicated to ordinary mortals like us. That’s why, in order to get the BeoLab 9, you have to dig deep in your pocket for around 10000$. The adage "Quality Costs" is so true in this case…

I purchased a simple beosound1 CD Radio because its sleek modern look went with my new contemporary decor. One night I was listening to some jazz at very low volume, All of a sudden I started hearing things in the music I never could hear before, so clean, so crisp I thought this can`t be. This little box sounds like a concert. I became obsessed… I eventually was in touch with a B&O dealer after weeks of online research, I dug deep for the 11,000+ Beolab 9`s. They are placed about 11 feet apart and accent a very contemporary decor. When I sit between them and listen at about volume level 28 using a beosound 3200 to signal them, I close my eyes and magic happens, I am transported to a live jazz fest. My ears are very happy!!! I`m not an ad and I`m not lying you have just got to try this.
If like to be in the music, you will be consumed! You will have to turn it off to stop the chills down your back
