The Apple iPod and the dragon
It seems that the accessories for the Apple’s iPod don’t give any rest to the designers all over the world.
From Smart Design comes this dock, called the Dragon I, that looks like a multi-headed dragon (Doh!), although i might say it resembles more with the Hydra…

And that’s because this dock comes with 4 tentacles (or necks…) that have on their top a spherical support that houses a 5 W independent speaker. Thus, the Dragon I has a 20W RMS power, pretty decent for a mobile sound system after all. Although meant to be paired with the iPod, the device can also house other compatible MP3 players.
Complete the looks and portability with a remote control, and you will get an idea on this baby. Personally i don’t really see the point of having this kind of gadgets, but if you’re a dock fan, this one should be taken into consideration. And since this one is called the Dragon I, i think a Dragon II will be in line someday. I’m looking forward to see what else will come from the hands of those boys at Smart Design.
