Thanko brings up the silent keyboard

The Japanese from Thanko hit the market of office peripherals with their latest silent keyboard design. Actually, we’re talking about an usual keyboard that produces much less noise while typing than an ordinary one.

This way you get rid of the annoying clap-clap sound you produce while hitting the keys. A conventional keyboard uses springs to make the keys pop back up after they are being pressed. This model on the other hand, uses silicon instead of springs. That’s the secret of it’s quietness.

This way, your office would be much more relaxing, cause you wouldn’t have to hear all the clapping noise. On the other hand, this keyboard can be useful when you want to use your computer without disturbing the people around you, especially in quiet conditions.

Some people say that the silicon makes keys harder to press and this way you get some kind of pain in your wrist after a period of continuous use. I can’t say it’s true but i would definitely like to have this keyboard on my hands.
