Sony Ericsson W999i, an M series Walkman slider

Remember what I said yesterday, about the leaked pictures of next to come mobile phones? Well, today is another day, and another phone hits the blogs, the Sony Ericsson W999i Walkman slider phone. A Swedish site has some pictures of what it looks to me like a combination of M series keyboard and Walkman W850 slider mechanism.

I don’t know is this picture is real, as I have a doubt about Sony Ericsson being able to fit the M series keys together with the slider mechanism in under 12.5 mm thickness, as stated by the aforementioned website. The rest of the specs seem pretty OK: HSDPA connectivity, 2.4" 262K color display and 2 megapixels camera with autofocus. Tomorrow is Friday, so I guess we’ll read about another leaked photo of a future phone model. It seems to me that Nokia and Sony Ericsson have a lot of leaks to patch, or maybe they’re doing this on purpose.
