RICAVISION Slideshow Remote Control hits the web and soon the shelvesOne of the many new features Windows Vista brought us is the Slideshow function. It’s maybe the most useless one, but surely caught the attention of many manufacturers. ASUS was the first to offer a notebook with external SideShow display. RICAVISION is one of the few that are offering remote controls for Media Center, with SideShow functions of course.

What makes their products stand up is the color display and 100 m range, thanks to its Bluetooth connection. For backup they also offer a IR connectivity. Trough SideShow is possible to program applications to run on the remote, essentially making it an extension to the sidebar, showing incoming email, RSS feeds and system resources status.

Further more, you can browse your music, videos and picture stored on computer and play them at will. RICAVISION plans to make SideShow Remote Control available in April, at around 200 $, or 199 to be precise.
