Philips Ambisound HTS8100 goes to Q2’07 for 999 $

Lately Philips is concentrating on adding value to their product range and focused on accessories and ambient related items.

One of them is Ambisound HTS8100, an audio system with amplifier and DVD player that is meant to work well with an LCD TV or plasma screen.

Looks can be deceiving, but you shouldn’t always seek a secret side of the problem

What makes me say that is the design and the fact that Ambisound HTS8100 has wall mounting capabilities, the target here being very clear. What’s missing is a HD player, because the price, 999 $, surely deserves something better than two speakers, amplifier and DVD player. But HTS8100 is an award winner, so for a pure breed you must pay a premium price.

But there’s time to get the money till it will be available, in second quarter 2007, as stated on the product page.
