Okwap S868 Pocket PC features Virtual Click-WheelApple is definitely very sensitive when it comes to protecting their patents, they have proven it trough times. I wonder what will they do about Okwap S868, a Taiwanese Pocket PC which features a Virtual Click-Wheel, very similar as concept with the one used by Apple iPod.

But till we find the answer to this question let’s just browse trough the specs of Okwap S868, a very promising smartphone running WM5 Pocket PC Edition. First comes the CPU, a 416 MHz Intel PXA270, helped by 128 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM memory. Everything is displayed on a 2.4" screen with unknown resolution. There’s no trace of WiFi, but we have Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profile and SD/MMC extension slot. Let’s not forget the 2 megapixels camera, a usual feature these days on any smartphone.

About Virtual Click-Wheel, this function is simulated by running you fingers over the keypad, in a classic Apple fashion. Your actions translate in cycling trough options menu. Okwap S868 will be available in Taiwan for approximately 500 $, but I hope to find it in Europe soon.
