Okwap S868 Pocket PC features Virtual Click-Wheel

Apple is definitely very sensitive when it comes to protecting their patents, they have proven it trough times.

I wonder what will they do about Okwap S868, a Taiwanese Pocket PC which features a Virtual Click-Wheel, very similar as concept with the one used by Apple iPod.

Even the white casing resembles some Apple products

But till we find the answer to this question let’s just browse trough the specs of Okwap S868, a very promising smartphone running WM5 Pocket PC Edition. First comes the CPU, a 416 MHz Intel PXA270, helped by 128 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM memory. Everything is displayed on a 2.4″ screen with unknown resolution. There’s no trace of WiFi, but we have Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profile and SD/MMC extension slot. Let’s not forget the 2 megapixels camera, a usual feature these days on any smartphone.

About Virtual Click-Wheel, this function is simulated by running you fingers over the keypad, in a classic Apple fashion. Your actions translate in cycling trough options menu. Okwap S868 will be available in Taiwan for approximately 500 $, but I hope to find it in Europe soon.
