NeuroArm is the first MRI-guided neurosurgical robot, and is now been tested by the Canadian researchers that have built it. NeuroArm is designer to increase the accuracy of the movement while operating, by taking out from the equation the human hand. Surgeons will remotely guide NeuroArm by following the transmitted images via a workstation. There’s not much to be said, besides the fact that NeuroArm is the result of more than 6 years of research and is expected to operate the first patient this summer.
