Nanobots, is there anything they can’t do?

Nanobots, is there anything they can’t do?

Wikipedia’s definition of a nanobot is “a small robot designed to work alone or in teams with other nanobots to achieve a task and may replicate themselves”. Of course this is science fiction today, but tomorrow we can’t know it they won’t be able to cure cancer or destroy you from inside.

I’m not particularly keen on knowing what bad things nanobots will be able to do, but I like the renderings done by Daniel Kocyba back in 2002, if I can read the watermark well. He calls them nanoroboters, I call them bees crossbreeded with front radiator grills in a very appealing way. Enjoy the pictures below, just click the picture for a bigger size.
