Motorola unleashed

Motorola launched a couple of new mobile phones at 3GSM, which takes place in Barcelona this week. This are the MOTOKRZR K3, MOTOSLVR L9 and MOTORIZR Z8. I’m quite sure that will be quite a prolific event, and phones will occupy the front page of the profile magazines for a couple of days.

MOTOKRZR K3 is meant to continue the success story of the MOTORAZR line. Of course, it brings many improvements to its predecessor, in terms of both design and functionality. The looks are better, cause the MOTOKRZR K3 will benefit from exquisite covers and materials. Technologically, the new phone comes with a 2.0 Mpx digital camera, swappable microSD card, 2" high resolution screen and much more. Last but not least, the K3 has HSDPA technology, besides Bluetooth, for instant access to various entertainment or business materials.

Motorola MOTOKRZR K3 is the MOTORAZR’s succesor

Motorola MOTOSLVR L9 is meant to be a true multimedia phone. Sleek and slim, this gadget provides a rich multimedia experience, with features like FM radio with RDS or the integrated music player with Bluetooth wireless connectivity. The L9 also supports video streaming and progressive download, for quick uploads of your favourite multimedia materials on it. All this and so much more: 2.0" Mpx digital camera for capturing those moments meant to be immortalized, microSD card slot and the MegaSIM technology.

The MOTORIZR Z8 is even cooler, cause if brings up the new curve gliding mechanism. Other phones glide vertically or horizontally, but this one glides after a curved surface. That’s something new in the business and Motorola might be starting a new trend again here…

This phone is both a multimedia and a business one. Having an OS, various programs are available, like the Mobile Office Suite or Acrobat Reader. On the other hand, the big 2.2" screen is capable of playing videos at 30 frames per second. And you can store a great amount of clips, cause besides the 90 MB internal memory, you can also stick in a microSD card up to 4 GB. Other then that, the Z8 also has the same 2.0 MPx camera as its brothers, integrated music player with automatic synchronization via Bluetooth and HSDPA connectivity.

Motorola is known for the innovations brought to the mobile phones world. This new models maintain the same trend, and could be a big success in the future. We’ll have to wait and see though, cause they aren’t available yet. In fact, i couldn’t even find a picture of the L9 model, so i have no idea how it will look, but I’ll come back on this later on, with more details…
