FCC is a very good source for peaking into future devices that will hit the market in US. Finding upcoming products is not easy, but also not impossible.
Some search happy friends found pictures and specifications of a future Tablet PC from Motion, the LE1700 that has some interesting features to make it interesting.

Motion got a pretty clean design for LE1700
First of all we’re talking about a 12.1 ” SXGA+ Tablet PC, so we have 1400 x 1050 pixels cramped in a very small surface. Second, Motion LE1700 offers WWAN connectivity, with the antenna being integrated into the casing. Wireless 802.11 a/b/g is present, along with Bluetooth and standard Ethernet port. For data security we have a fingerprint sensor and an accelerometer (helps prevent hard drive crash if you drop the LE1700 on the floor).

A picture is said to be worth a thousands words, but maybe they weren’t referring to this one
Motion will offer two processor choices for LE1700: a 1.5 GHz Core 2 Duo CPU or 1.2 GHz Core Solo low voltage model. We don’t have a clue on price, but expect to pay top dollars for this Tablet PC.
