Mazda Nagare concept has new things to offer inside and outsideI can’t say that I’m a Mazda fan, but I think I’m about to change my mind, as I saw the Nagare concept, a car developed under the direction of Mazda’s new global design director, Laurens van den Acker. The goal was to achieve a new means of registering motion while moving or standing still.

I think they managed to capture that easily, as Nagare is a combination of sport car and efficient urban cruiser. Nagare achieves that with a very aerodynamic shape, extra wide wheelbase and a powerful, yet efficient hydrogen rotary engine.

Mazda Nagare, definitely you'll find it in a parking lot

Inside there are four seats. Access to them is made trough two extra long doors which hinge forward and up, like the wings of a butterfly. Drivers seat is central mounted, just like in a Formula 1 car. The rear compartment is build like a wrap-around lounge, offering accommodations for three passengers. There’s no word of when or if Nagare will every be produced, but I hope that it does. You can see from the picture why.
