Mactab, the MacBook of the future
We all love Apple products, and especially their laptop series, the MacBook. But what if the MacBook would be slimmer, better looking and easier to carry around?
Just take a look at this concept, called the Mactab. Designed by Yann Le Coroller, the Mactab could be the MacBook of the future.
Mactab, a cool independent laptop concept
Like you can see from these pictures, the device is incredibly thin. The screen and the keyboard are not tied together like on actual laptops. The cool looking keyboard is also used as a protection for the screen while transporting it, and it stays in place with a combination of magnets and notches. As for the screen, it has touch capabilities, for easier data input, and can be set in vertical position with the help of a stringe placed on its back.
Simple and easy. The Mactab is just an independent concept and has nothing to do with Apple, but maybe Jobs should learn something from these designers all over the world. It would benefit us all.
