This notebook cooler is based on the air flow technology, therefore it will not suck the hot air out of your laptop coming from the CPU and GPU vents, but will blow cool air under your laptop to cool it down. Logitech Notebook Cooling Pad N100 is equipped with one fan and a nice touch is the ,,rear air intake’’, and that is possible because it draws the cool air, not from underneath the cooling pad, but from the back. Some might describe this as being ,,genius’’, because it keeps one from worrying that he/she could be obturating   the fan, while working with laptop on the lap or leaving it on a comforter.

Interesting as well is the design, which is described as ,,slick’’, and it is, indeed quite curved (and that it what makes this laptop cooler to be appealing or sexy, you can call it that way too). Again related to the design is the light weight (two pounds) and the compatibility with up to 15.6’’ display. The Logitech Notebook Cooling Pad N100 comes in three different colors: dusty rose, grey accent and green accent. On the other hand, this slick thing doesn’t keep your laptop from slipping from time to time… if you’re not careful.

In terms of performance, we ought to mention that this laptop cooling pad is quite silent, so you won’t feel interrupted while working or just having fun on your PC by continuous series of noise. The cooling efficiency is OK, because the one fan endowment spreads air evenly letting the back plastic or aluminium case of your computer breath, at the same time. Great is that it is very easy to use (one does not have to install some drivers, you just connect it to your USB hub while the notebook is already turned on) and it’s light weight allows the user to carry this notebook cooler around without any difficulties.   However, a nice touch would have been an on-off switch and fan speed  control settings… but you can always take the USB cable out. You can say that’s a way to control speed too: zero of full speed, but I wouldn’t get that far.

How does it work? Like I mentioned earlier it is powered by an USB cable and it has low energy consumption, so your computer battery is better protected this way.  You just connect it to your already turned on laptop and that is everything you have to do. No complications!

Now, the nicely shaped curves, the silent running, the low energy consumption won’t get cheap. But it won’t cost you a fortune neither.  The Logitech Notebook Cooling Pad N100 costs around 30 dollars. I’d say quite a decent deal!
