Logitech io2 Digital Pen helps digitizing your handwriting

Even if the majority of us are writing with the keyboard faster than normal handwriting, there are moments where we could use a pen and a paper to make a sketch, draw a map and then Logitech comes into play with io2 Digital Pen.

Logitech managed to keep io2’s size small enough

What io2 Digital Pen does is simple: it converts everything you write with your hands into digital information. All you need is a piece of special paper and you can start writing or drawing. Logitech io2 Digital Pen can store up to 40 pages and can be used about 8 hours without need for recharge.

After synchronizing, you can use OCR software to translate the images into text that can be edited, but there’s need for a little training time before doing that accurately. The only drawback I can see it’s the need for special paper, which can be bought from Logitech, at a price a little higher than normal paper. The good news is the variety of paper formats already available. io2 Digital Pen has been in prototype phase for many years and I’m glad that it finally hit production.
