The Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard is a USB powered keyboard with a small, color LCD panel that provides information such as: the status of the game, system information, VOIP communication data, video playback, image slide shows and so on and so forth. You get up to twelve programmable buttons (up to 36 unique settings can be saved per game) and macros will be recorded while playing, if you wish. The gaming keyboard is also backlit and it lets you choose the lighting color from blue, orange, green and white. A single key stroke deactivates the Windows or Context Menu, so no trouble for you (such as minimizing the game) if you press those keys by accident.

Two 2.0 USB ports are included and you can use up to six keys at once. In terms of performances, the Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard has indeed lots of customizable options; therefore you will play the game your way. With the backlit keys, you won’t have any trouble in spotting the keys even when playing in the dark. Good macros capability and nice response time. However, in my opinion, it has a major flow: the excellent color LCD doesn’t feature too many widgets that you can use. More and more are added with each update, but don’t expect a wide variety. For you you can display game stats, system information, VOIP communication data, video playback, image slideshows

Should you buy it? Only if you are a passionate gamer, in search of professional gaming gear. If your needs are not really related to gaming, this keyboard is not worth the money.

The price for the Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard is around 155 US dollars (prices should be similar in other stores – this is an expensive keyboard). It is indeed one of the best gaming keyboards at the moment, but the price is much spiced, in my opinion. I would not pay that money, unless I already have a 3000-4000 dollars PC!
