LG Chocolate Deluxe

We all know the LG best seller mobile phone called Chocolate. It’s been a real succes from the start and that’s why over time new faces were added to this model, besides the original Black Chocolate, like the White Chocolate and the Pink one. I know, pink chocolate doesn’t really exist but i guess the Koreans wanted to attract more feminine buyers.

At CES this year LG launched two new faces, the deluxe versions, called "Platinum" and "Gold". They are a little slimmer then regular Chocolates and have a tight strip around their middle with the names Platinum/Gold inscribed on it. The Platinum’s strip is made of silver, and the Gold’s one is of course made of gold. This new look certainly gives the phone an aristocratic look, making him suitable for a royal face or something. I can’t really say it rivals the Nokia 8800 Sirocco Diamond limited edition, but it’s definitely a cheaper alternative for a fancy occasion.

Besides the face-lift, the new Platinum and Gold Chocolates come with a couple of technological enhancements, like a better screen, bigger integrated memory (256 MB) and a better 2.0 Mpx camera with auto-focus the replaces the old 1.3 Mpx one.

LG officials expect the phone to be available on the markets worldwide shortly but the prices weren’t yet stated. So, if you want it, you’ll just have to save some bucks and join the line in front of the local mobile phones store.
