HTC has a iPhone killer, Touch, or so they say
Apple announced iPhone this year and everybody else figured out that touchscreen interfaces are a cool thing. Further more, everybody tries to copy in some degree the iPhone, which hasn’t even been launched yet. One of those replicas is the HTC Touch, a Windows Mobile 6 PDA Phone with some additional interface, TouchFLO, mounted on top of the operating system, but in a more brute way compared to LG Prada.
HTC Touch is boosting some interesting features, but nothing uncommon these days:
- Windows Mobile 6 Professional
- Triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE
- Wi-Fi b/g
- Bluetooth 2.0
- 2.0 megapixel CMOS camera
- Dimensions: 99.9mm x 58mm x 13.9mm
- Weight: 112g with battery
- 64 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM (1GB microSD storage card included)
- 2.8” TouchFlo LCD screen with backlight, 240 x 320 dots resolution with 65,536 colors
- Rechargeable Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 1100 mAh
- Standby time up to 200 hours / Talk time up to 5 hours
- Choice of two colors at launch – elegant soft black or alluring wasabi green
To see how the interface works we have a few videos, grabbed from here.
