HP Rugged Data Center Assistant/PDA Concept
Gadgets are known as fragile products, but from time to time someone thinks at the people that need them in rough environments, and design ruggedized versions. One of those is HP Rugged Data Center Assistant, a PDA concept from Teague.

The full concept’s name is "Data Center Communications Vision of the Future Server", and it won a If Design Award this year at CeBIT. This concept is meant helping IT personnel to monitor data center equipment. Mainly it visualizes and communicates problems related to HP Servers and Data Centers, and can be fully-integrated to streamline day-to-day tasks.
Rugged Data Center Assistant can be synchronized with user’s PC trough Bluetooth and RFID (this is for access control). For diagnose and repair actions it has to be connected trough USB dongle. I hope that HP is planning to use this concept in the future, for a full spec PDA Phone, as its design looks pretty cool.
