HP presents its vision of the E-book reader
When was the last time you read a book? For me it was long time ago, but things may change after E-book readers hit the market. HP is also trying to enter this yet narrow market, and presented its concept E-book reader during HP Mobility Summit in Shanghai, China this month.
HP didn’t tried to reinvent the wheel, which is a good thing, but added a few features worth mentioning, like two touchpads for turning pages in a similar way to classic books. E-books are transferred trough USB connection, but HP plans to add Wi-Fi connectivity before launch, as the featured models were just prototypes. Photo functions will be available also by using HP’s online photo service Snapfish.

HP’s vision is a little different, but not too different
I could find only one flow to it: have you ever tried to carry around an open book? HP’s E-book reader resembles too much to an open book, and I couldn’t find a way to flip it closed, so you’re getting one big reader, all the time.
