How about a vacuums race?

Vacuum cleaners are a very important house device in the modern society. They were even present in the Stone Age (you know, The Flintstones cartoons created by the regretted Hanna & Barbera). But, in the last years, the classic women/men powered vacuum cleaner has been replaced with a much comfortable to use robot vacuum.

You just plug in the recharger and when the batteries are full, all you have to do is set free the robot. He’ll clean the entire room for you. Some of you might say that the results aren’t as good as when you manually vacuum, but come on, it’s easier and takes a lot less effort from us…

Track Vac is remotely controlled

A couple of Americans took the concept further, combining a toy car and a vacuum robot together. The result was Track Vac. It has great vacuuming capabilities, with a low height profile that allows it to get to difficult places and a big dust storage compartment. Besides that, it looks like a race car, having the Nascar logo on its sides. The recharging dock is exactly like a race pit, so when you recharge your vacuum you can say it’s on pit-stop. The difference is that this pit-stops take a while… And it also has race car sounds, for getting you in the action.

And the main attraction of this gadget is the fact that it has a steering system controllable trough a RF remote. So, prepare the ground in your living room for some fierce contested races. Oh, and if you’re interested, Track Vac comes at 280$, but brings in a device both useful and fun.
