Fans of the famous series of Heroes of Might and Magic games received news that delighted them in August: Ubisoft announced that it would launch a new game in March next year also offering a few interesting details about its new features.
For those that are less familiarized with the Heroes of Might and Magic universe it is worth mentioning that it is a turn-based strategy (TBS) game in which the player has the mission to create a hero unit on the map of the world by getting resources and defeating opponents. One of the essential characteristics of the game is that in battle mode the player has a map similar to a chessboard on which battles will take place through moves and magic.
Synopsis
Heroes of Might and Magic VI is a prequel for the previous version and takes place 500 years before the events in Heroes V. The idea is that a famous archangel brought back to life after the Elder wars wants to regain his strength and win control over the Ashan world with them. Apparently, his main rival is represented by an invasion of demons, but things get complex when the Griffin dynasty appears and does not let the archangel fulfill his mission.

Familiar universe, full of new surprises. That's what's coming in Heroes VI
Gameplay
Scenes will be quite similar as the fundamental character of the series is kept. However new features are not few, and they are significant. For example battles with boss opponents appeared, a reputation system (more and more used in the latest games), and a function for converting the whole city. However resources were simplified so you will only find crystals instead of the 4 types of resources in Heroes V. It is also worth mentioning that 50% of units will be completely new, which is why even experienced players will need some time to accommodate to the new rules.
Another interactive element is that missions can be played in any order even if they are interconnected. Since any modern game must include a feminine hero, the new Heroes is no exception. According to Ubisoft officials, gamers will have the opportunity to be in front of Svetlana, a heroin with a Russian inspired name that should give you a clue about its sex appeal.

Your hero is more powerful than ever
Conclusions
Ubisoft claims that the new Heroes VI will benefit from the suggestions fans have made, as the best of them have been implemented. It remains to be seen if this is at least true in part, and if it is we can expect great results.
A sure thing is that the game was launched in March 2011. Heroes VI is available exclusively on PC, due to its complexity which makes it unsuitable for other platforms. For now the Windows version is being developed but it is also possible for the Mac OS X version to appear. You can get Heroes of Might and Magic IV from Amazon for $47.
