Hasselblad and the behemont
Hasselblad and the behemont is not a fairy tale, as you could have tought at a first glance. No, it’s a real story about Hasselblad, the famous photographic material producer, and its newest creation, the H3D-31 digital camera. And what a camera it is…
First of all, H3H-31 is a full-frame DSLR camera and comes with a 31 Mpx sensor, measuring 33 x 44 mm. Besides that, the producer uses micro-lenses to boost the camera’s ISO from 400 to 800, Digital APO Correction that automatically corrects colour aberrations and the Natural Color Solution technology, meant to reduce a lot your post-processing activities.

Hasselblad H3D-31: size does matter
The Hasselblad camera is really impressive, containing all the latest technologies in the domain. The result is that images are delivered in 16-bit colour definition, at a capture rate of just 1.2 seconds between frames. That makes the H3D-31 perfectly suited for taking moving shots. Taking a 31 Mpx picture requires a lot of storage space, which can be provided by CompactFlash or ImageBank II cards, or even directly by connecting the camera to a computer.
Of course a camera this potent requires a lot of muscles to maneuver, cause it weight more than 2 kg (a real behemont…). But if you can afford to get your hands on this 25.000$ worth Hasselblad H3D-31, you’ll certainly have enough to spear for a gym subscription.
