Garmin 2-Way GPS would have been fun in my childhood
Wouldn’t it be nice to have a walkie-talkie device that could show the position of your friend when you were little, wondering all day playing hide and seek? Even now I dream of playing like I did when computer was not a word in my vocabulary and today Garmin 2-Way GPS made me remember that.
In short, the 2-Way GPS adds short range radio transmission and reception capabilities, that allow your device to pinpoint your friends position on map. Further more, you can send text and voice messages on short range (2 miles using Family Radio Service and 14 miles using General Mobile Radio Service). For 450$ you can get the 520HCx and for 50$ more you get the 530HCx with built-in altimeter, weather alert radio and electronic compass.
High sensitivity receivers ensure that you can be found even in on the highest mountain or the deepest canyons. Price it’s OK considering that Garmin 2-Way GPS is ruggedized, to ensure that it won’t let you down after a short rain.
