Estari 2-VU Model DC15 is a dual screen notebook

No, it’s not the slideshow Vista notebooks, that feature a smaller external display to show your favourite picture. Estari 2-VU Model DC15 is a fully fledged dual screen notebook, featuring two 15″ XGA touchscreen panels.

Estari tries to narrow down the line between PDAs and notebooks with the dual touchscreen capabilities of the 2-VU Model DC15. As you might have guessed, the notebook doesn’t feature any keyboard and mouse, but has the necessary ports to accommodate wired products of wireless versions. 2-VU Model DC15 works with Windows XP so you don’t have to learn any new operating system.

2-VU Model DC15 isn’t quite a beauty but it does the job

If you already dream of using two displays on your notebook, then you might think again cause Estari charges for 2-VU Model DC15 four times the price of a regular notebook. For 4350 $ the specs are pretty scarce: 60 GB hard drive, 1 GB RAM, Fast Ethernet and Windows XP Professional. For external  Firewire DVD Writer you have to add another 295 $ and 99 $ for the WiFi 802.11g card (the standard specs only include an WiFi antenna).

Thank god they provide a Li-Ion battery in the standard config, or you’ll have to watch your two blank 15″ screens.
