We all have the habit of moving furniture around from time to time, in order to change the mood a little bit, to have the impression something has changed, but after a while we do realize that’s just an illusion.
Michael Schmidt is a furniture designer that came up with a nice idea on how furniture can change shape and purpose, adapting to your changes in life.

CookLounge in living-room form
His concept is called CookLounge and is in principle a piece of furniture that can change shape, that can be adapted to various environments and purposes. Today it can be your kitchen and tomorrow the living-room where you entertain your friends. This is made possible trough modular design and relies on your imagination to take a good shape. I would definitely buy one, but for now it’s just a concept, which, if goes in production, will definitely set a trend in hi-tech furniture.
