The leap from drawing boards to 3D CAD modeling programs gave designers and engineers the opportunity to better visualise the final product. Claytronics is a concept that may revolutionize once again how we design things. It uses nanobots to construct a scale model of the final products. You can touch it and apply changes to it, that will are transformed in real coordinates, thus updating the specs.
