Captain’s Nemo watch, Vulcania, is a 11 pieces limited editon
What’s the most exotic watch you’re ever seen? Don’t bother to answer, just take a look at Vulcania, watch inspired by Captain’s Nemo fictive home. Remember the big windows of Nautilus, that allowed the submarine crew to see underwater, to uncover the secrets of the sea? Vulcania has two sapphire glass panels so you’ll always see what happens inside.

Vulcania is rough, just like the sea at storm
Design is signed by Fabrice Gonet, who was contacted by HD3 Complication, a three years watch brand. He managed to capture very well the marine image, using components that resemble nautical navigation instruments. Every instrument is clearly separated and distinctively shaped. The metal part of the case is made from titanium and platinum.

No secrets with Vulcania, you can always see what happens inside
What stikes me is that Vulcania is 50M water resistant, so it will sink like a ship if used when diving, so no periscope depth captain, sir! Vulcania will be manufactured in just 11 pieces, so you won’t see them very often. Price was not communicated, but expect it to be "exclusively" priced. First appearance will take place during SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) in April at Geneva.
