Canon brings EOS-1D Mark III
Canon launched the new EOS-1D Mark III. Being their high end camera, it is used by professional photographers all over the world, and its name says quality! The Mark III brings a couple of enchantments to the Mark II N (launched back in September 2005), bringing the model technologically into 2007.

Canon EOS-1D Mark III: the new best choice for professional photographers
Combine a 10.1 MPx CMOS sensor with the new dual DIGIC III processor, and you’ll get an idea about this new camera. We have a full sized sensor of course, 28.1 x 18.7 mm, with ISO going from 100 to 6400. IN fact, the biggest "usable" ISO value is 3200, cause at 6400 you will loose quality a lot. I should also mention the the sensor cleaning system, which really comes in handy, and the burst capabilities of this camera: 10 fps in bursts of up to 110 JPEGs or 30 RAWs. Huge storage capacity will be required of course for that…

Canon EOS-1D Mark III comes with 16-35 mm Lens
Besides all these, the Canon EOS-1D Mark III comes with a huge 3.0" display, that allows you to see the pictures and check their quality. Impressed? Well, keep reading. This camera also has:
- WFT-E2A Wireless File Transmitter for direct transferring of files to an outside storage device
- GPS technology
- Speedlite 580EX II Flash
- EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens
- OSK-E3 Original Data Security Kit for file encryption

Canon EOS-1D Mark III: front, back and side looks
Professional photographers are surely in ecstasy right now, cause the Canon EOS-1D Mark III really is a dream come true. The camera will be available from May in Japan, but we don’t know exactly how much will it cost. I’m betting on a couple thousands dollars though…
