Can-Am Spyder Roadster is part bike, part car, part roasterIf you had ever ridden a bike you must have loved the feeling of freedom from the wind and, open space, but surely felt somehow vulnerable, after all you are on two wheels. BRP is trying to offer a safer ride without compromising pleasure, this way Can-Am Spyder Roadster was born.

We don’t know how to characterize Can-Am better, because in producer’s vision is part bike, part four wheeler and part roadster. I say it’s a motorcycle with two front wheels. It looks fantastic, aggressive and sportier than most bikes. BRP put a V-twin 990 cc engine (apparently it has a name: Rotax V990, and is pretty known in certain circles) to power this beast and didn’t forget about safely, offering anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control systems with Can-Am Spyder Roadster.

Can-Am is also more practical than most two wheels vehicles, featuring two types of windshields (depending on your mood for high speed driving or riviera cruise), six spoke allow wheels with protective trim ring, knee pads for comfort during prolonged rides, read rack and tank bag for additional storage space (not that you’ll ever want to use Can-Am as a transport van).

As all good things BRP will be more expensive than a bike, after all they say it’s better than a bike. No final price was announced yet, but we know it will be available in two colors: silver and mustard yellow.

I’m over 75 yrs old, owned several full sized road bikes. This spyder has to be the most fun machine on the road. I spent one full day at the dealer test riding, in loose gravel, panic stops,in traffic, under all conditions. One day soon a Spyder will be in my garage, when I can pull together the cash!!
