If you ever went to a picnic with a few friends and stayed over night you must have told stories under the clear night sky, illuminated only by a big beautiful, dangerous bonfire.
But we shouldn’t think of the possibility that we might burn down the woods and concentrate of the ritual itself, of the stories and people that the bonfire bonds.

When mounted correctly, the tripod’s black ends form a horizontal plan
The bonfire act not only like a gathering ritual but also provides heat and helps cooking what you’ve hunted during the day (or what you brought with you from supermarket). Like every old habit that hopes to survive the new millennium, the bonfire must adapt to realities of our time. That’s why designer Yu-ri Lee imagined a high-tech bonfire, called the Tripod Burner that has the same basic role of heating stuff up, especially food.

The Tripod Burner can be folded, so that it can be transported easily
Even if it’ just a design, with no available prototypes, the Tripod Burner already received a iF design Award for it’s folding mechanism and power switch that, when activated, heats up the black ends of the tripod, also allowing for power adjustments. And, not to forget, the Tripod Burner is gas powered, so the ecologists can breathe relaxed now.
