Biomechanical sculptures, art is moving forward

We live in a world of change and anyone who thinks and acts quickly has a chance to succeed. Art is also moving forward and new currents appear every day.

One which fascinates me deals with mechanical sculptures, and today I’ve found a new artist, Christopher Conte, from Norway, who has some interesting concepts in his portfolio.

He likes to “build” human shapes, insects and other concepts meant to enhance human strength, senses and bring new capabilities to our bodies. My favorites sculptures are displayed below:
