Benq has a 23 inch 3D monitor for gaming
Gamers, rejoyce! Benq is thinking of you and prepping its line-up for the 3D future. Last week’s official statement announces the launch of the XL2410T gaming 3D monitor by Benq. It’s a 23 inch LED display running at 120 Hz and you can pair it with active shutter glasses to game on in 3D.
Benq say they have worked with ZOWIE gaming gear to tweak their monitor for gaming perfection. Moreover, their collaboration with professional gamers has netted a fine-tuned settings mode specifically created for playing FPS shooters. But no details on actual changes were made public, so we can only assume they’re telling the truth.
Among its features, we’ll note the faster response time due to the 120Hz refresh rate, a 10M:1 contrast ratio, and the picture by picture mode – which means you can game and surf the web at the same time. The producers are happily encouraging you to watch a movie while camping – but then again, we never recommend camping. To anyone.
The Benq  XL2410T 3D gaming monitor will hit the European shelves in October this year, but the price was not discussed yet.
