Audi LOCUS, a flowing concept inspired by Mother Nature

German car manufacturers are known for their straight lines with “serious” design, not for passionate forms usually found in Italian super-cars.

I’m not saying that as a bad thing, but I sometimes want to see more passion together with their technologically advanced cars.

Ugur Sahin, a young designer, has put his vision into LOCUS, an Audi concept, a car inspired by Mother Nature. What does it mean by that is no straight lines can be found in LOCUS. The car shape flows from front to back, giving it a “relaxing, energetic, vibrant and confident feeling”. What I can say is that LOCUS doesn’t look anything like a German car, it has maybe what Audi sometimes misses: a human touch.
