Atree UJ10, PMP with phone looks

Why is it that many good products are only available in foreign counties and you have to get trough a lot of stress to get one? There are financial reasons, but let’s not discuss them here, and concentrate on the latest Atree PMP, the UJ10. In fact what we have here is a mini PMP, one with a great design, that doesn’t feel lost in front of iPod Video. Personally I think UJ10 looks a lot like a phone, but maybe I have see too much fashion products lately.

In short UJ10 has a 2.2 inch screen and metal looking case (yes, you got that right, it looks like metal, but it ain’t). UJ10 is capable of playing audio files (MP3, ogg, WMA) and videos (mpeg4, wm9) and can slide show (jpeg, BMP and gif formats). As a bonus Atree added text viewing capabilities, a voice recorder, mini-games, FM Radio and DMB TV. Storage space is not quite 2007ish, with only two versions available: 2 and 4 GB. Availability is only programmed for Korea this time, but I hope UJ10 will be a success and will manage to break the borders shortly.
