ASUS J502 adds SMS remote control function

It seems that ASUS is moving fast in the PDA phones arena and announced another model, the J502, with a typical 2.4 inch QVGA display, tri band GSM 900/1800/1900 and micro-SD slot. Weigh it’s pretty low, at 120 grams and so are the dimensions: 103.5 x 52.8 x 14.7 mm.

But J502 it’s not an ordinary device, as it spots a 3 megapixel autofocus camera with built-in flash and TV-out capabilities. Another nice additions is the SMS remote control function, that allows the user to send predefined SMS messages that remotely perform functions like “shutdown”, “call forward”, “phone lock”, “send V-card” and “format”.

Even if it seems a little better than J501, I don’t think people will throw away the first model and rush to the store to get one.
