Artimi high speed wireless transfer for digital cameras

We’ve all gone trough the problematic transfer of pictures from our digital camera to PC. Every time we have to connect the cable, select the pictures and wait an eternity till everything is transferred, even via USB 2.0.

Artimi has a solution to this, and it involves wireless transfer.

The wireless transfer is capable of such speeds on short distances

Their prototype is said to be capable of transferring one gigabyte in 30 seconds, using a wireless USB method of communication between PC and the digital camera. Their first commercial product is expected this year. I hope that other producers will implement such transfer methods of transfer, to ease the process.
