Art in a PDF calendar

ClownSince a was a kid i used to like having a calendar on my desk or on a wall in my room back home. I kept this habit over the time, but this year i realised i don’t have one. So i accidentally searched the Web for a calendar and i found this: a PDF art calendar.

How’s that you might wonder. Well, it’s pretty simple. You just have the pages of the calendar in a format PDF document, usually at 300 DPI, so that all you have to do is print them and tie them together. You can do this at home, on your personal printer, but i would recommend going to a specialised photography work shop. You’ll definitely find one in your town.

Calendar winter and spring
Pages from the calendar: Black for winter, green for spring

Coming back to the calendar i found, you can see it here. It’s kind of a special calendar, cause it doesn’t have sights, cars or babes like most others do, no, it has art pictures and graphic sketches realised by young and promising artists all over the world. Unfortunately not all the pages are available for download right now. I can’t say exactly why, because i would want to print the entire calendar at one time, not to make 3 pages this month, another 3 next month and so on… Black ball for Lounge 72 for that, but that’s their policy and we can do nothing about it.

Calendar summer and autumn
And then, red for summer and yellow for autumn

Although some of you might think this PDF calendar idea is just a whim, cause it’s way easier to buy one from the store, I believe it’s cool to have this particular calendar in my house, because it’s unique and because i like it’s pages. Or you can just say i like art maybe. But it definitely worths the effort of putting it on paper…
