If you saw the documentary "An inconvenient truth" you know that what causes global warming is CO2 emissions, the worst cause for pollution. The people who build Alé, a concept car that uses Fuel Vapor technology, has the main purpose of increasing fuel efficiency and decreasing CO2 emissions.

Alé can be called an air powered car, as it uses a higher ratio mixing of air and fuel to increase efficiency. Alé uses a 20:1 ratio, while other cars hover around 14.7:1. Without a catalytic converter, Alé is 20 % more fuel efficient and 30 % less polluting. All this is achieved without decreasing performance: the engine is a 180 hp Honda, which help Alé to reach 60 mph from 0 in 5 seconds. Top speed is 140 mph.
While in regular use you’ll be able to get around 92 mpg, which will definitely help you pay a pretty high monthly fee, as the previsioned price for Alé is 75.000 $ CAD. In less than 5 years the price is set to fall by 50 %.
