Acer Gemstone laptop preview

Acer are launching their new laptops series later today, in Milan. For now, we don’t know many things about these new gadgets, but it’s certainly a good news that they decided for a redesign at last. Acer were known for their accessible laptops, that came with some pretty dull designs though. All except the Acer Ferrari line of course…

Due to appear today is the Acer Aspire Gemstone line and also the new Travelmates. The new Acer Aspire Gemstone will march a lot on the aspect, Acer trying to create a stylish design, with a remarkable contrast between the interior – the gray-pearl of the surface – and the outside black polished surface. The new body of the product points out the balance between the natural invaluable stones, their cut roundnesses and the fire which lives them. The Travelmate light weight series also receives new look, but these laptops won’t be as impressive as the Gemstone. The accent is set on ergonomics and portability. The new form envelops soft curves with hard lines, creating a perfect harmony between the interior and the exterior, between the keypad, touch pad and screen. No picture of the Travelmates yet.
