3000:1 contrast LCD from LG
LG are planning to launch a monitor with a great contrast rate of 3000:1. That is one of the highest contrast ratios for an LCD in the industry.
The first monitors with this technology will come from the 60 series and Vista Widescreen series, and will be available within a couple of weeks.

Higher contrast means better image quality, especially for those dark moving images. You’ll now get crisper and clearer images, that would make the monitor best suited for movie playing (the widescreen ones) and even for standard every day usage. With minimal distortions, “perfect black” displaying capabilities, good eye protection and splendid images, we should expect that this devices won’t be cheap. But after all, quality comes first, no?
