I don’t know why, but when I stare at this clock I remember the best and the worst moments of my life. Bravo, Vvork! Who would imagine that a clock means more than a 24 hours endless cycle? Lifeclock’s mechanism is slowed down by 61.320 times compared to a normal wall clock. Of course, the numbers shown there represents years - not seconds, hours or days, not even months. The bad news - it’s still under testing and the results are not so inspiriting so far. During some tests off the coast of South Australia the device failed due to a problem with an electrode and was smashed into pieces by a ferocious big shark. Luckily, the Shark Shield was attached to a float, not to a human living body. The producer said in a statement that Shark Shield Device is safe: "the testing conducted to date proves conclusively (100% of the time) that sharks detest the effect the field has on them, and will keep a safe distance between themselves and the Shark Shield”.

Asus Eee PC, the very popular, accesible and easy to carry notebook is getting some nice upgrades: a better display (9 inch and 1280 x 600 pixels - means full page Internet browsing), up to 12 GB SSD storage and 1 GB of RAM. Well, that’s more like it - the minor specifications are being kept secret but we already know the best part. The new version of this nice little piece of technology will be named Eee PC 900.

Of course, the "injected" technology makes this little boy also a little bigger and expensive - Asus Eee PC 900 will cost about 600 dollars - look for it in the summertime or, if you’re in a hurry, buy the cheaper version (Asus Eee PC 4G) right now.

The alarm clock surely is one of the most contemptible "gadgets" that can be found in my house. But it absolutely has its use – to wake up me up from my sweet dreams and send me to work – otherwise I’ll probably stay in my bed all day long. If the mobile phone alarm isn’t too loud for your morning bad wishes then maybe this one will do the good job. This alarm called Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock is really “loudy”, believe me: a maximum loudness of 113 decibels – slightly more than a jackhammer.
